Coloring! for adults! offered at Ansonia, Derby Libraries
The coloring craze continues to grow in popularity.
And two libraries in the Valley are providing a place for adults to enjoy the creative activity.
In Ansonia:
Think coloring is just for kids? Think again!
The Ansonia Library will be hosting “Crayons for Grown-Ups” at 5:30 p.m. Jan. 19. Coloring has recently been touted as the newest stress reliever for adults. Six of the top 20 books on Amazon.com right now are “adult" coloring books.
The books used have more intricate designs and patterns than those designed for children.
Materials and refreshments will be provided.
Come have a fun evening and see what it’s all about!
For more information, call the Ansonia Library, 203-734-6275. The Library is at 53 S. Cliff St.
In Derby:
On the first Monday of every month at 6:30 p.m., adults are invited to come and join the coloring craze - it’s not just for kids any more!
No specific skills or preparation needed, just a desire to relax and de-stress.
For more information, stop by the Library at 313 Elizabeth St., call 203-736-1482, or visit www.derbypubliclibrary.org.
