Seymour Pumpkin Festival slated Sunday at French Memorial Park


SEYMOUR -The annual Seymour Pumpkin Festival will be held from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 22 at French Memorial Park, 62 Spruce St.

The event was started in 1965 and has been running strong since. It features live entertainment, food, crafts, vendors, family fun, activities for kids, and more!

Krishiv Patel will be back at Plumb Library to explain and answer questions regarding AI – Artificial Intelligence; what it is, how it works and what the dangers/benefits of it are. Questions are welcome!

St. Michael's CWV Post 1562 in Derby to host benefit dinner Tuesday


DERBY - St. Michael's CWV Post 1562 monthly pasta dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday will benefit the TargetCTforT2T initiative to raise money for CONNECTICUT veterans and first responders. 

The Post is at 112 Derby Ave.

Dinner is just $10 per person, but reservations are needed to ensure we have enough to go around for all! 

Call the Post at 203-734-9748 to get your ticket. Dinner includes bread, salad, pasta in meat sauce, coffee and dessert. 

Bonus of the evening, great time with friends, those you know and those you will make! Join us!
