Recuperation journey: Looking at Sunday's sky

I took these photos from different vantage points in Derby.

I just can't get enough of sunsets and sunrises ~ they're so beautiful.

Master's Table provides Christmas dinner Sunday in Ansonia

Santa was on a much-needed break when I arrived at the Master's Table free Christmas Dinner Sunday afternoon at Assumption Church hall in Ansonia. But the Christmas spirit was in the air.
Santa's elf was there, ready to hand out presents, along with three more young helpers. Wrapped presents were given to children and adults alike.
Those who attended were treated to a roast beef dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, and dessert. Many even went home with fresh flowers.
Although the community meals are free, donations are gratefully accepted.
Kudos to Jim and Janette Fedak, founders of Master's Table, for another wonderful event for all.

Recuperation journey: Looking at the sky

Sunday sunrise after Saturday's snowfall.

And about a half-hour later. Brighter blue sky.

Keep looking up! Then you don't have to see what needs to be shoveled.
