Recuperation journey: Our hero

We went to the diner last night and when we returned we naturally got scolded by our feline friend for leaving him alone.
😾

But we happened to let in a moth when we opened the front door, and that made Linus forget about being mad at us.
He was on duty! He stalked the moth, quickly jumped up and caught it, then had a tasty (to him anyway) treat.
Linus is an indoor cat - a real softy - and runs away from an open door.
I cannot imagine him killing a bird or a mouse or a chipmunk in the great outdoors. But I suppose if he were out there instinct would kick in!

Thanks, Linus, for disposing of that terror for us.
