Great Hill United Methodist Church in Seymour to hold Basket Bonanza

File photo

SEYMOUR - Great Hill United Methodist Church will hold its annual Basket Bonanza at 5 p.m. Oct. 12.
The Basket Bonanza is a fun-filled night for friends and neighbors to come together for good food, fellowship, and entertainment.

Weeks prior to the event, church members and friends create themed baskets to donate. There’s no limit to what can be put together as a basket - and sometimes even the basket isn’t necessary!
We’ve had toolboxes, stockpots, colanders, and shower totes serve as the “basket”!
On Basket Bonanza day, doors open at 5 p.m.
Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, baked goods, desserts, and coffee while placing their free tickets in the numbered canisters.
Promptly at 6:30 p.m. we start our program and pull out the winning tickets for each basket.
We’ve had as many as 120 baskets - so be prepared for a fun night!

This year our Grand Prize basket is a bounty of gift cards - redeemable at both local and national restaurants and stores.

The church is at 225 Great Hill Road.
