Foraging adventure slated Saturday at Ansonia Nature Center

ANSONIA - Join Ansonia Nature Center ranger Dawn on an epic foraging adventure from 2-3 p.m. this Saturday.

Together we will explore the wilds of the Nature Center’s property to harvest and learn about wild edible plants. Backyards, vacant lots, woodlands, and open fields support tons of food and medicines for the natural collector! We’ll taste and smell some along the way and have a small feast when we return from our hike.

Please pre-register at ansnaturectr@ansoniact.org

Class size is limited. FEE: $6 per family.

The Nature Center is at 10 Deerfield Lane.

This is a press release from the Nature Center.
