Construction forces closing of Derby Senior Center next week

Attention: Due to the construction and for the safety of our members, the center will be closed to the public next week (8/12--8/16/24). Classes and events will hopefully resume 8/19. We will keep you posted.

Staff will be here if you have any questions or would like to check in with us. The ice cream social and the cookout will be rescheduled, date TBD.

Free meal offered Sunday at Assumption Church Hall in Ansonia

Free Community Meal

When: Sunday, Aug. 11 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or until food runs out (rain or shine). If we need to cancel due to the weather, we will post it on Saturday on Facebook.

Where: Assumption Church Hall, 61 N. Cliff St., Ansonia

Must be present to receive a meal.

Park car and enter church hall, masks are optional. If you are unable to exit your car or don't want to come inside, please speak to our volunteers outside and they will bring out your meal.

Pick up meal and browse giveaway table. You can eat your takeout meal inside but bring your own beverage.
