Beacon Falls Public Library Cookbook Club to focus on dessert dishes
BEACON FALLS - The Beacon Falls Public Library Cookbook Club will discuss dessert dishes at its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Jan. 24.
The Library is at 10 Maple Ave.
Participants are asked to bring a dish to share from that month’s cookbook along with copies of your recipe(s).
Swing by the library to pick up a copy of the book " Williams Sonoma Dessert."
Must be at least 18 years of age or older to participate.
By registering for the program, participants acknowledge they may choose to consume food that has not been prepared in a commercial kitchen.

Friends of the Derby Neck Library seek volunteers

DERBY- The Friends of the Derby Neck Library will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday for their monthly meeting to discuss ways to help the library.
The library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.
The group is always in need of volunteers.
