Photo experiment at moonrise


The sky was so clear today I had to take a photo of the moon, and the flag. Not sure if I like it; I was experimenting.

The moon was in a waxing gibbous phase, 67 percent illumination.

Ansonia mayor, aldermen applaud inventor of anti-drunk driving device


Ansonia Mayor David S. Cassetti read a proclamation Wednesday at the Board of Aldermen meeting honoring resident Lakesha Stines. 
She has invented Sober Touch Sensoring, a device that prevents drunk driving. 

Recuperation journey: Ready for breakfast


This morning I tossed eggshells onto the icy patio for three blue jays that were in the yard. 
A few minutes later they each swooped down and grabbed a shell. I was able to capture a photo of this one holding tight to his breakfast.
