Recuperation journey: A bit o' bling to celebrate

I treated myself to something fun to celebrate my cancerversary this weekend.
I'm now a seven-year survivor of breast cancer.

I purchased a pair of heart earrings made by a friend, Dajana Damjanovich of Oxford.

Here they are:

She started her jewelry business - Dajana Design - in 2016, the same month Ralph and I launched our Valley Voice newsletter.
Dajana creates beautiful, one-of-a-kind earrings, bracelets, and necklaces.

Dajana manages the Seymour Pink Gift Shop at 3 Franklin St., Seymour.
The shop is opening after a winter break from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. today.

The nonprofit Seymour Pink, a community's fight against breast cancer, is an all-volunteer organization.
