5th annual Pounding the Pavement for Pink fills downtown Seymour with friendship, fun

Our Circle of Friends support group facilitator Donna Hayes, at right, an oncology social worker at the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin Hospital in Derby, helps a friend with a boutonniere before Saturday's Pounding the Pavement for Pink 5K in Seymour.
Hayes is always at the ready to help. She also pinned a boutonniere on me!
Our support group team had a great time walking together and, true to form, came in last. It's a tradition with us.

Stay tuned for more photos in The Valley Voice newsletter this week.

Pounding the Pavement for Pink is today in Seymour

... and Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller and several friends will be pushing this car - The Pink Nightmare - along the 3.1 mile route.

I'll be walking with our Circle of Friends breast cancer support group from Griffin Hospital. It's always a fun morning!

See you there!
