Seymour Public Library to show 'Die Hard' Friday

SEYMOUR - Join us at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the lower level auditorium of Seymour Public Library to watch a movie! 

Light refreshments will be served. The Library is at 46 Church St.

We'll be showing "Die Hard" starring Bruce Willis, Alan Rickman, and Bonnie Bedelia. It is rated R and its duration is 2 hours, 12 minutes.

Summary: A New York City police officer tries to save his estranged wife and several others taken hostage by terrorists during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles.

'Turnback Tuesday' (on Wednesday) seeks location of photo from 1955 flood

Turnback Tuesday has another image of the 1955 Flood for you to help us identify.

This looks to be a factory along the Housatonic River looking towards East Derby or Shelton. We would like to know where and what factory it is?

The Flood was caused by two hurricanes: the first, Hurricane Connie, went by CT on August 11, depositing 4-6 inches of rain.

Then five days later, Hurricane Diane left in her wake 13 to 20 inches of rain in CT over a two-day period.
