Recuperation journey 2.0: Looking at the sky

Great Hill UMC in Seymour to host Chili Cook-Off fundraiser


SEYMOUR - Great Hill United Methodist Church will host a Chili Cookoff Dinner Saturday, March 15 from 5:30-7 p.m. (or while supplies last). 

For $12.50, enjoy either a bowl of chili with toppings and cornbread or a hot dog with toppings. Both dinners come with sides of coleslaw, mac & cheese, and bag of chips, as well as a beverage and dessert in the church’s fellowship hall. Diners will have a chance to taste from a selection of specialty chilis and vote on their favorite.

Master's Table offers free meal Sunday at Assumption Church in Ansonia


Free Community Meal

When: Sunday, March 9 from 3:30-4:30 p.m. or until food runs out (rain or shine).
Where: Assumption Church Hall, 61 N. Cliff St., Ansonia
❗️Must be present to receive a meal.
❗️Park car and enter church hall, masks are optional. If you are unable to exit your car or don't want to come inside, please speak to our volunteers outside and they will bring out your meal.
❗️Pick up meal and browse giveaway table. You can eat your takeout meal inside but bring your own beverage.
