Recuperation journey: Looking at the sky

Tonight's sunset was as pretty as last night's; dare I say even prettier?

Always grateful for my view!

Historian to discuss Connecticut Witch Trials at Seymour Public Library

SEYMOUR- Seymour Public Library will host a presentation by historian Jason Scappaticci on the Connecticut Witch Trials at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 26.
In 1692, the first "witch" of the Salem Witch Trials in Massachusetts was hanged. Connecticut beat that injustice by about 45 years. On May 26,1647, Alse Young, from Windsor, purported to be the first person in Colonial America to be so sentenced, was executed as a witch. By 1662, 10 others in Connecticut - nine women, two men - would follow to the same fate. How did this come to occur in Connecticut? Attend this free presentation to find out more.
No registration is required. The Library is at 46 Church St.
