Last week daughter Allegra caught this sunset on her cell phone and gave me 'permission' to use.
She likes to look at the sky as much as I. (I trained her well!)
Tree lighting, Toys 4 Kids kickoff slated at White Hills Firehouse in Shelton
SHELTON - Santa will be escorted on a fire truck through the White Hills section of the city from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Dec. 14.
Santa and his helpers will be passing out popcorn balls to children during his tour.
The trip begins in Upper White Hills and ends in Lower White Hills.
Members of the White Hills Fire Company will follow Santa’s fire engine with pickup trucks as part of the fire company’s Toys 4 Kids drive. New unwrapped toys will be collected by firefighters for distribution by TEAM, Inc.
In the event of foul weather check White Hills Fire Company Friends and Neighbors Facebook page for the rain date.
