Farm market creates sense of community on Derby Green
DERBY - I visited Week 3 of the Derby Green Market this morning.
The market is open from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sundays on the Derby Green through Oct. 16.
I found lots of locally grown vegetables, blueberries, herbs, honey, and baked goods.
I purchased a loaf of Ciabatta Bread from Plasko Farm in Trumbull and we're looking forward to breaking into it!
Derby resident Phil Martino performed oldies during the farm market on the Derby Green.
Stay tuned for a story and more photos in a future edition of our Valley Voice newsletter.
