Undefeated Ansonia soccer team champions win congratulations

ANSONIA - Congratulations are in order to these incredible athletes - who went undefeated in their CJSA [Connecticut Junior Soccer Association] (10-0) and bring home the league title!
These ladies bested some of the State’s most competitive clubs including Madison, Coginchaug, Hamden, Milford, Seymour, and Branford!!
This U15 team is no stranger to league titles having brought home the U12 league title before!
Thank you, ladies, for being such incredible representatives of our City!
Thank you also to their Coaches for their guidance and dedication! Your City is so proud of you!

Derby Public Library kicks off Summer Kids Club; registration is open

 


DERBY - Derby Public Library will hold its Children's Summer Reading Club (for ages 3 -11) from June 21-Aug. 13.
Registration is now open at https://bit.ly/3iDW5ZB.

Each child can enjoy a summer of paw-tastic fun using a welcome DPL kids club packet that includes a grade-specific Summer Reading log.

Weekly raffle and other incentives (TBA) will be given out to those who participate in activities such as completing a reading log and attending a virtual or in-person outdoor library program.

The Library is at 313 Elizabeth St.

Derby High School graduation postponed to Thursday at Derby Sports Complex


Sharing message received at 11:20 today from Derby Town/City Clerk Marc Garofalo:

"We received the following information today from the Derby Public Schools:

 The Derby High School graduation has been changed to Thursday, June 17, 2021 at 6:00 pm – Derby Sports Complex.”
