Lauren Hass is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO®), Declutter Coach and Collectibles Advisor and serves on the Board of NAPO-CT (Connecticut chapter of the National Association of Organizing and Productivity Professionals).

Lauren founded Clutter Kicker to help others achieve the organized space of their dreams, knowing that physical order leads to decreased stress, increased productivity and increased happiness. Lauren lives in Orange and provides decluttering and organizing services to clients in New Haven and Fairfield Counties.

'Turnback Tuesday' highlights history of Derby Public Library

Turnback Tuesday is highlighting the Harcourt Wood Memorial Library/Derby Public Library.

The upcoming month of April is “Passport to CT Libraries.” 
This is a state-wide event that invites everyone to visit as many CT libraries as possible during the month. 

Yes, there will be prizes awarded for the person who visits the most libraries, but more importantly, you get to see some of the most historic and beautiful buildings in our state.

Derby Public Library was built/started in 1901 with the generous donation from the Wood family. Dedicated in December 1902, DPL opened to the public in February 1903. 

This library has stood the test of time the past 124 years, offering not only books but education, entertainment, technology and a quiet place to rest and relax.

Thanks goes to Derby Public Library staff for sharing interesting local history each week.
