Recuperation journey: On Pickett's Pond

 

It was an overcast and humid day at Osbornedale State Park in Derby. I lasted there for about 10 minutes this afternoon. Not my favorite time of year.

Derrby Public Library to host outdoor tie-dye event for children


DERBY - Derby Public Library to present Color your World tie-dye event for ages 5-12 at 6 p.m.
July 20 with a rain date of July 27.

This in-person, outdoor event is presented by Seymour Blank Canvas. Jamie, who creates her own hand-dyed threads, will help bring color to your world!
Materials are supplied, including a T-shirt. Size chart provided when registering at https://bit.ly/3jXXLxG, which ends July 12.

The Library is at 313 Elizabeth St.

Virtual readings of classic graphic novels slated at Derby Public Library


DERBY -  Derby Public Library invites all young adults ages 12 and above to virtual gatherings for the reading/showing of Classic Graphic Novels from 3:30-4:30 p.m. July 14 and 28. 


Zoom access links will be provided via email the day prior to meeting dates.
