Seymour to hold 5th annual 'Trunk or Treat' Saturday

BOO!

SEYMOUR - On Saturday the Seymour Police Department, Seymour Ambulance Association, Seymour Public Schools and the Town of Seymour will hold the fifth annual “Trunk or Treat.”
The event runs from 6-7:30 p.m. Set-up time is between 4 and 6 p.m.
“Trunk or Treat” will be held at Seymour Middle School, 211 Mountain Road.
There will be no cars allowed in once the event starts or out until after the event.

This is a free, family-oriented, fun community event for children in grades Pre-K to 6,
We want to make this event an annual family tradition.
To enter the event families must bring a family car and decorate the trunk or entire car, if they choose to; they can bring one carved jack-o-lantern (without a candle) and please bring plenty of candy to hand out.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.

We decided to hold the event prior to Halloween to give families a chance to enjoy the event without having to rush during the week to attend the event. Families will enjoy carloads of fun with their children!
Families should dress-up and watch their children in costume trick or treat from car to car!  There will be a “Children’s Costume Parade”!  Dancing to scary music! There will be bounce houses for children to have even more fun and families can enjoy free cider beside a fire.
It’s fun! It’s safe! It’s a free family night out!

Prizes will be handed out for “Best Decorated Car,” “Best Costumes,” and “Best Jack-O-Lanterns.” Unfortunately, the will be no “Walk-Ins.”

Contact Rich Kearns if you have any questions about the event at 203-888-2561 ext.1003.
