ANSONIA - Docents at the Derby Historical Society will prepare 18th-century seasonal foods from 1-4 p.m. today over an open hearth at the Gen. David Humphreys House, 37 Elm St.
There is a suggested donation of $5 per person.The photo at right is of a tin oven next to the fireplace in Lady Humphreys' parlor.
A turkey was roasted in the oven during a November event in 2010.
