Crooner Mark Lanzieri, band light up Veterans Park in Ansonia
Ansonia's own Mark Lanzieri, right, performs Wednesday evening during a summer concert at Veterans Park in Ansonia. With him is musician Joe Meo, who played saxophone, clarinet, flute, and guitar during the two-hour performance.

Elizabeth Anderson, owner of Lizzie's Corner Consignment and Gifts, 19 Bank St., Seymour, also was selling items for the cat in your life.
She also offered real maple syrup and flavored vinegars and oils.
The market place is open from 5-7:30 p.m. There is still time to check it out today! Nolan Field parking lot is just off Wakelee Avenue.
