Mark Lanzieri to perform in concert today on Derby Green

DERBY - Singer Mark Lanzieri of Ansonia and his band will perform at 7 p.m. today on the Derby Green.

Town clerk Marc Garofalo said in an email: "We regret that The Barons couldn't make it due to illnesses. We thank the reliable Mark Lanzieri for saving the day!"

Mark Lanzieri performs Friday night on Derby Green

The Valley's own crooner Mark Lanzieri performed Friday night to an enthusiastic crowd of fans on the Derby Green. 

The concert was sponsored by the Derby Cultural Commission.

In addition to tunes made famous by Frank Sinatra, Lanzieri performed songs by Dean Martin, Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, and others. It was a great concert!

DERBY - The final Friday Night Dance Party on the Derby Green is tomorrow, Oct. 7, featuring the fabulous sounds of the Valley’s own crooner Mark Lanzieri and Friends. 

They’ll be performing from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

 

Come down to the Derby Green and kick off the long weekend with the sounds of Sinatra!!

ANSONIA - Resident Mark Lanzieri will bring his vocal talents at 7 p.m. today to Veterans Memorial Park next to City Hall, 253 Main St.

His performance, which includes plenty of Sinatra hits, is part of the free summer concert series sponsored by the city's Cultural Commission.

Bring your dancing shoes and enjoy the evening!
