SHELTON - Saturday was a day to remember those who have lost their battle with cancer and to celebrate survivors at the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of the Naugatuck Valley. The two-day event was held at the Shelton Riverwalk. Survivors were treated to a lunch and given pins that say "Hope Hero." A big thank you goes to the committee members who have worked hard for the past year to organize the Relay for Life activities.
The AHS Music Department participated in adjudication, a music performance assessment, May 11 at Berlin High School. The Chorus received an EXCELLENT rating and the Band a SUPERIOR rating. Congratulations go out to music teacher Maria Tangredi and all of the music students! *Shared from the Ansonia Public Schools Facebook page.
