Theft during church service in Ansonia upsets parishioners

I'm re-posting this information for a friend who wrote this earlier today on Facebook.

ANSONIA POLICE ARE LOOKING FOR :

A WOMAN WITH RED-BRAIDED HAIR RIDING A MOTOR SCOOTER!

SHE STOLE A PARISHIONER'S PURSE THIS MORNING DURING COMMUNION SERVICES AT CHRIST EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 56 SOUTH CLIFF STREET, ANSONIA- BETWEEN 10:30 AND 11:00 A.M.

SHE WAS SEEN WITH A (BLACK HELMET AND GLOVES) IN THE BACK OF THE CHURCH. SHE DROVE AWAY ON A MOTOR SCOOTER.

Seymour Library Friends to hold book and bake sale

SEYMOUR - Visit the Friends of the Seymour Library Book and Bake sale from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.


Baked goods will be sold in the library's lobby upstairs, while downstairs there are lots of book bargains to be had. 

The library is at 46 Church St.
