ANSONIA - The Ansonia Police Department would like to announce the swearing-in of our newest police officer, Officer Ovelize Elena. 

Officer Elena is a lateral transfer from another police department and is eager to make an impact in our community. 

We welcome you to the Ansonia Police Department and wish you a safe and long career here.

ANSONIA - Just a reminder from Mayor Cassetti that Week 14 of the Ansonia Farmers' Market is today, Friday from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Located across from the train station, the weekly market includes fruits and vegetables from Gazy Brothers Farm, breads, fresh mozzarella, and pesto from Beldotti Bakery in Stamford, and jams, jellies, and pies from Ansonia’s own Amski's Delights.

Come on down – it’s prime time corn and tomatoes season! Yum!! 🍅🥒🌽🍞

Seymour Public Library to present talk via Zoom on Edgar Allan Poe


 

DeMartino's Farm in Seymour to host fall fun for families

SEYMOUR - Come pick the perfect pumpkin from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Oct. 9 at DeMartino's Farm, 66 Old Ansonia Road.
Cost is $20 per child; children must be pre-registered. 
Get ready for a wagon ride to pick your perfect pumpkin to take home. Visit the paint station to decorate gourds, if you wish. 
Stop by the petting zoo to meet some barnyard friends and take pictures with the Great Pumpkin.
Please note that all tickets have to be booked in advance. You can PM Jenny Goduto to reserve your spot.

All proceeds from this event will go to the farm, one of the oldest farms in Seymour.
