MS support group to meet at Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton


SHELTON - A regional, self-led MS support group will meet from 1-2:30 p.m. March 11 at Plumb Memorial Library, 65 Wooster St.
Group members discuss topics of interest and share information; new members are welcome. The meeting will be held in the handicapped-accessible Meeting Room at the Library.

“Mother’s Flowers” - a Colonial Still Life

Saturday, May 9, 2020, 3-5 p.m.


The best way to say I love you is with flowers. What better way to get them than by creating your own still life at the David Humphreys House?

Artist Amie Ziner will teach you the history of the 18th-century Conté crayon and guide you in the creation of your own masterpiece.

Still-life setting and all materials provided. BYOB and a snack. $25 per person.

On Saturday my husband Ralph and I attended the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Brotherhood Awards ceremony at Ansonia City Hall. 
The program recognized five local residents - two women and three men - who made a difference in the community.

I think he was waiting for me like he seemed to be yesterday morning - another lucky capture through the window. 
Surprisingly when he hopped onto the ground  there were two more male cardinals waiting for him. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a photo in time.
