Naugatuck River reflections on a sunny morning in Seymour

Daughter Allegra and I took some cell phone photos Saturday before the start of the Pounding the Pavement for Pink 5K in downtown Seymour.
The 8th annual event was a benefit for the nonprofit Seymour Pink, a community's fight against breast cancer.

Grateful Gathering slated at Ace Hardware Quarry Walk in Oxford

Sharing from Grateful Vibes Only Facebook page:

"Did you know that November is National Gratitude Month?
"We can't think of a better way to express gratitude than to honor the Veterans & Military of the United States of America.
"At our next Grateful Gathering in Oxford on Nov. 8, you will learn about two Veterans in our community who left their families at the age of 18 and served in the Vietnam War. Donna Sorensen of Seymour will share their stories "A Tale of Two Jimmy's," Jimmy Mihalovic and Jimmy Farrell.
"Please gather with us, open your hearts and celebrate our Country's Freedom🇺🇸
In the next few weeks we will post updates and more details.

"For now ... mark your calendars, be happy and stay kind. We hope to see you soon. Many blessings to you all!
