Derby Neck Library to present Boo Bash! for kids Monday

 The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave., Derby. 

Learn to build debris shelter in hands-on class at Ansonia Nature Center

ANSONIA - Come for a fun-filled afternoon at 1 p.m. Nov. 6 in the woods at the Ansonia Nature Center and learn to construct a debris shelter. 

During this hands-on class led by Ranger Jeremy, he will teach you what is needed to survive in nature. This is a great program for ages 6-up to work together to properly build these leaf and stick shelters to keep you warm and dry. 

Register in advance at ansnaturectr@ansoniact.org. The Center is at 10 Deerfield Lane.
