Seymour Public Library to show romantic comedy, 'Desk Set'

SEYMOUR - Join us April 26 in the lower level auditorium of Seymour Public Library to watch a movie!
The movie starts at 1 p.m.; light refreshments will be served.

We'll be showing "Desk Set" starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. It is not rated and its duration is 1 hour, 44 minutes.
The Library is at 46 Church St.
Summary: Bunny Watson is a library reference clerk stuck in a dead-end relationship with a boring television executive. Her life is thrown into turmoil when computer expert Richard Summers enters it. He has been assigned with automating her department, and she is fearful that Summers' new computers will automate her out of a job.

She despises him at first, but eventually each of the two start to fall for the other's charms and strong personalities.

Littles' Art Studio on tap Tuesday at Derby Neck Library

DERBY - Every other Tuesday, bring your little one in-person to Derby Neck Library for some artistic exploration of various art mediums! The next program is tomorrow, April 18.

The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

One session will feature finger painting, while another will have stamps, and then another will have chalk.

Your child will get to experiment with all sorts of artwork, bringing out their little Picasso (and maybe a bit of yours, too)! And the best part is, we clean up the mess. This program is targeted to ages 3-5, but everyone is welcome!

No registration required, but sign up for our Youth Services mailing list to stay in the loop on cancellations by clicking here.
