Learn about indigenous people of CT at Seymour Public library


SEYMOUR - Explore Connecticut history from multiple perspectives in a program at 6 p.m. Aug. 17 at Seymour Public Library, 46 Church St. 
The presenter will provide a more truthful and accurate understanding of our state's history. Indigenous people called this land home for over 12,000 years. Visual and tactile resources will be on hand and participants will learn the many ways that the Indigenous peoples of Connecticut adapted to their changing environment and the impact European culture had on their lives.
