The Valley Breast Health Care Fund was established in 2001 to ensure that no person, regardless of age or socio-economic condition, is denied screening mammograms or diagnostic testing for breast cancer.
The Initiative recently expanded its support to include those seeking assistance with diagnosed breast cancer related services such as wigs, transportation and groceries.
In addition to Cosgrove, Tarasovic and Johnson, members include Initiative Co-chair Dr. Stephanie Wain, Daun Barrett, Darlene Breving, Carey Carpino, Christine Cooper, Dolores Chew, Karen Cusick, Dorothy Gandy, Antoinetta Hallett, Lisa Kechijian, Peggy Marlowe, Frank Michaud, and Nancy Valentine.
