Derby Public Library to offer info on Post University-Derby partnership

DERBY - The Derby Public Library will host an information session on the recently announced partnership between Post University and the City of Derby, from 5-7 p.m. May 9.

This partnership provides a 15 percent tuition grant for all city residents and employees.  

Those interested are invited to come and learn more about Post University, the degrees offered, and the tuition grant program.

CWV Post 1562 in Derby slates steak dinner


DERBY - Catholic War Veterans Post 1562 will host a steak dinner from 6-8 p.m. April 23 at the Post, 112 Derby Ave. 
Tickets are $20 and must be purchased at the Post by April 17. No tickets will be sold at the door. 

Full meal includes steak, baked potato, vegetable, salad, and dessert. 
There will be a cash bar and a raffle.
