St. Michael's CWV Post 1562 in Derby to host benefit dinner Tuesday

DERBY - St. Michael's CWV Post 1562 monthly pasta dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday will benefit the TargetCTforT2T initiative to raise money for CONNECTICUT veterans and first responders. 

The Post is at 112 Derby Ave.

Dinner is just $10 per person, but reservations are needed to ensure we have enough to go around for all! 

Call the Post at 203-734-9748 to get your ticket. Dinner includes bread, salad, pasta in meat sauce, coffee and dessert. 

Bonus of the evening, great time with friends, those you know and those you will make! Join us!

CWV Post in Derby to hold flag retirement ceremony

DERBY - Catholic War Veterans' St. Michael Post 1562 will hold its annual U.S. Flag Retirement Ceremony at 2 p.m. Saturday at the CWV Post home, 112 Derby Ave. 

The ceremony will be conducted by U.S. Naval Sea Cadets, Barque Eagle Division-NOSC, Plainville.  
The public is invited to attend this most respected ceremony.

CWV Post in Derby to host Dancing in the Parking Lot

DERBY - CWV Post 1562 will host Dancing in the Parking Lot with “Howie and the Soul Potatoes" from 6:30-10 p.m. Saturday. The Post is at 112 Derby Ave.

Donation is $10. 

Hot dogs will be served, and there will be a 50/50 raffle. Children under age 12 admitted free.

This fundraiser will support the Barque Eagle Sea Cadets.

It was a wonderful parade and the weather was picture perfect! 

CWV Post 1562 in Derby slates steak dinner

DERBY - Catholic War Veterans Post 1562 will host a steak dinner from 6-8 p.m. April 23 at the Post, 112 Derby Ave. 
Tickets are $20 and must be purchased at the Post by April 17. No tickets will be sold at the door. 

Full meal includes steak, baked potato, vegetable, salad, and dessert. 
There will be a cash bar and a raffle.
