Safe Sitter Class slated at Plumb Memorial Library in Shelton

SHELTON - Plumb Memorial Library will host a Safe Sitter Class from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Feb. 10.

Join Dee Kopec of the Shelton Youth Service Bureau for this seminar about safe babysitting practices. 

The course is for 11-14 year olds and costs $25 which covers their workbook and other supplies. 

The Library is at 65 Wooster St.

100 and going strong in Ansonia


On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting Ansonia resident Marija Marciniak who celebrated her 100th birthday at the Joseph A. Doyle Senior Center in Ansonia. 
She is an amazing centenarian!
