Spooner House to benefit from food drive at car cruise in Derby

DERBY - Attention classic car owners and aficionados: 

Heav’nly Donuts, 653 New Haven Ave., will host a Dust-Off Car Cruise from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday to collect non-perishable food items. 

The food will be given to Area Congregations Together's Spooner House, 30 Todd Road, Shelton.
Spooner House provides food, shelter, and support services to people in need.

The goal is to stuff a 1948 Crosley station wagon with donated food.

Rain date is April 19.
