Yuletide spirit evident at community meal in Ansonia

The next dinner will be held from 3-5 p.m. Jan. 25 at the church, 56 S. Cliff St. Donations are gratefully accepted.

Santa, Mrs. Claus, musicians bring Christmas cheer to store in Ansonia

My Sister's Place hosts festive event
Santa and Mrs. Claus, a.k.a. Chris and Kathy Kiley of Bethany, dance Saturday at My Sister's Place, a thrift shop that supports The Umbrella Center for Domestic Violence Services, part of BHcare.
This is the sixth year the Kileys have coordinated the Christmas event in honor of Kathy Kiley's sister, Bernadette Ross.

Shannon Kiley and Jesse Newman perform Christmas music.

Face painting was a big hit at the celebration.

Njomza Talo of Bethany paints her brother Niki's face. Their mother, Mimoza, was on hand to photograph children visiting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Prints of the photos will be given to parents later this week.

A face painting customer asks for a snowman to be painted on his hand.

This was a wonderful, family-oriented event that was filled with Yuletide spirit
Kudos to the organizers and helpers who made it a success.
