Skin screenings slated before community meal Sunday in Ansonia



ANSONIA - Master's Table will host a community dinner from 4-5:30 p.m. Sunday at Assumption Church Hall, 61 N. Cliff St

Free facial skin screenings will be available from 2:30-4 p.m.
The meal is free and open to the public; donations graciously accepted.

Santa visits folks at Master's Table dinner in Ansonia

Children of all ages met with Santa Sunday at the Master's Table community meal at Assumption Church hall in Ansonia.

After chatting with Santa they all received a present.


According to information on the Master's Table Community Meals Facebook page 204 meals were served.

Master's Table to host dinner at Assumption Church hall in Ansonia


Master's Table Community Meals, Inc. founder Jim Fedak said in an accompanying email that the nonprofit is seeking monthly donors at $25 a month. 
He also said he is available to speak to churches, organizations, and businesses about the work being done by Master's Table.

Master's Table to host festive Christmas dinner in Ansonia

Last December Santa and Mrs. Claus visited Master's Table Community Dinner. With them is helpful Christmas elf Zavier Desrosiers of Ansonia, who was 9 when the photo was taken in 2014. 


ANSONIA - Santa and Mrs. Claus will visit Master's Table Christmas Dinner from 3:30-5 p.m. Dec. 13 at Assumption Church hall, 61 N. Cliff St. 
The free dinner will be served from 4-5:30 p.m.

Murphy visits Master's Table Thanksgiving dinner in Ansonia


U.S. Sen. Chris Murphy poses with Zavier Derosiers, 10, of Ansonia, the youngest volunteer for Master's Table Community Meals. Murphy visited folks at the Thanksgiving dinner Sunday at Assumption Church hall in Ansonia. Master's Table hosts the community meals once a month in the church hall. Zavier said he volunteers because he likes to help people in need.
