Save the date: Oxford Cultural Arts to hold spring fair May 2

 

Oxford Memorial Day Parade to step off at 11 a.m. Monday

On Monday in Oxford, the annual Memorial Day Parade will step off at 11 a.m. from the Little River Shopping Center at the intersection of 35 Old State Road and Route 67 (Oxford Road). 

Parade organizers said dozens of marching units, including four bands and various youth sports, scouting and other town organizations will be featured.

The parade will proceed along Route 67 (Oxford Road), stopping at three Veterans’ memorials along the way. The parade will conclude at Oxford Town Hall, 486 Oxford Road, with a wreath presentation ceremony.

A complimentary lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers that’s open to the public will be held at The Boar’s Nest following the parade. 

An afternoon of live music by 100 Proof and the Luke James Band will be featured.

Oxford Ambulance Association seeks donations for Seymour/Oxford Food Bank

OXFORD - The Oxford Ambulance Association will hold a food drive at 6 p.m. Dec. 3 at the

Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

The event will be held at 484 Oxford Road.

Help us help those in need this year by donating non-perishable food items. 

All donations will go to the Seymour/Oxford Food Bank. No one should go hungry this holiday season.
