Recuperation journey: Where's breakfast?

Wednesday morning visitor captured through the window. I think he's waiting for me to put out some eggshells.

Recuperation journey: They came, they saw, they left

Sitting at the computer this morning and noticed these three deliberating whether or not to take an eggshell. Grabbed a photo of them and they flew away without taking anything with them.

Recuperation journey: Ready for breakfast

This morning I tossed eggshells onto the icy patio for three blue jays that were in the yard. 
A few minutes later they each swooped down and grabbed a shell. I was able to capture a photo of this one holding tight to his breakfast.

Recuperation journey: Puh-lease!

"I said no photos today."

This is the thanks I get for all the eggshells I've been giving him and his cohorts.
