Recuperation journey: Breezy Mother's Day

Charles Island

Not sure what kind of bird this is.

We took an impromptu drive today to Silver Sands State Park in Milford.

Sunny but breezy is the best way to describe our stroll on the boardwalk.

ANSONIA - Ansonia Police responded to a suspicious activity complaint at about 6:50 a.m. Monday on Walkers Court, Lt. Patrick Lynch said in a written release.
A resident reported an unknown male parked a truck in their driveway then walked away leaving the truck in the driveway.

The male confirmed he parked the truck there, turned over a key to the truck and stated he had borrowed it from a friend.
When the registered owner of the truck was contacted, the owner did not know the truck was missing, did not let anyone borrow the truck but did report there was a spare key left in the vehicle.
The suspicious male was also in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
The suspicious male, identified as Kyle Barone, 18, of Milford, was taken into custody and charged with larceny first degree and possession of marijuana.

Recuperation journey: A trip to Milford

A view of L.I. Sound and Charles Island on a sunny afternoon.

The folks in the boat are definitely practicing social distancing.

Artfish 42 is a cool art gallery at 42 Naugatuck Ave., at Walnut Beach in Milford.
I highly recommend you check it out when the quarantine is finally over!

Tomorrow is Ralph's birthday but since we can't go anywhere to celebrate we took a "ride" around the region today, socially distancing of course.
It's supposed to rain around here tomorrow so we took advantage of some sunshine. He said he enjoyed his present.
