Pack 51 to hold popcorn sale Sunday at Hilltop Hose Company in Ansonia


ANSONIA - Pack 51 will be holding a drive thru popcorn sale Sunday from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Hilltop Hose Company, 80 Pulaski Highway.
Please come out and support the youth of our community.
We will have tables set up with popcorn. Drive up, tell us what you would like to purchase and off you go, it is that easy!

Girl Scout Troop 60044 to hold cookie booth Sunday at Hilltop Hose in Ansonia


Girl Scout Troop 60044 will hold a drive-thru cookie booth from 11 a.m. to 4 pm. Sunday at Hilltop Hose Company #5 firehouse, 80 Pulaski Highway, Ansonia.

Hilltop Hose in Ansonia to hold Jim 'Skinny' Evans Memorial Tag Sale

ANSONIA - The Fall 2017 Jim “Skinny” Evans Memorial Tag Sale, sponsored by Hilltop Hose Co. #5, will be held rain or shine from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 21.
The firehouse is located at 80 Pulaski Highway (Rte. 243). 
A selection of holiday decorations is available for sale, as well as household items.         
All proceeds will be donated to the Jim “Skinny” Evans Mack fund, established in 2011 to support the refurbished Mack firetruck and the garage built to house it.

Ansonia Traveling Market Place debuts at Hilltop Hose Company

Renee Simpson, owner, 4 Pearls Desserts of North Haven, was one of the vendors Wednesday at the Traveling Market Place held at Hilltop Hose Company #5. She said because of the hot weather she was keeping the rest of her baked goods in a refrigerated case. 



Elizabeth Anderson, owner, Lizzie's Corner Consignment and Gifts on Bank Street in Seymour, also set up shop at the market place.

There is still time to get there today. The market closes at 7:30 p.m.


Next week the Ansonia Traveling Market Place will be held in the parking lot of Nolan Field.
