SEYMOUR - We’re thrilled to launch our first‑ever PIZZA fundraiser with our friends at DJ’s Pizza — a local favorite and a huge supporter of the Seymour Oxford Food Bank.

Here’s how it works:
 For every 10 pizzas purchased, DJ’s will donate 1 pizza to SOFB.
 You can also purchase a pizza directly for our freezer, helping us stock meals for neighbors shopping with us.
 Every pizza comes with a coupon for a FREE small cheese pizza with a $25 order.
 And SOFB receives a percentage of every sale, making your dinner go even further.

Derby Neck Library to celebrate summer today with fun for all ages

Join us today, Aug. 15 from 1-7 p.m. for games, prizes, raffles, pizza, popcorn, ice cream, cotton candy, DIY activities for kids (slime! unpoppable bubbles!) and adults (customized book totes!), and a dunk tank for you to Soak the Staff!

Derby Senior Center to host Pizza Dance Party

DERBY - The Derby Senior Center's Pizza Dance Party Aug. 17 at noon is selling out quick! Call to reserve your spot! Cost: $10.

Menu is homemade pizza, salad, and dessert with entertainment provided by singer Paula Pettinella.

She will be performing classics, oldies, country, disco, doo wop, and of course, Italian songs! It's sure to be a good time!

Derby Neck Library to host Dinner and a Movie Thursday

DERBY - Dinner and a Movie is back at Derby Neck Library! The movie tomorrow, Feb. 2, is The Banshees of Inisherin.

Attendees will enjoy a feature film on Blu-ray with an intermission complete with a pizza dinner. Popcorn and other movie snacks will be offered throughout. 

Keep an eye out in the library for the flyers that show the feature film! No registration is required. 

Please note that there will be a difference to how dinner is served. Pizza will be served by a volunteer from the library’s Friends group instead of buffet style as in years past. All snacks will be pre-portioned or individually wrapped.

Classic Anime and Pizza Night

SHELTON - Teens 13+ can join Miss Jessica at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Huntington Branch Library for two episodes of 1990's/2000's anime and pizza. 

In August we will be watching the first episode of Weib Kreuz and Sailor Moon. While these series are recommended for teens, this is based on acceptable Japanese culture, not American culture. 

Caregivers are encouraged to find out more about any titles they might not feel comfortable having their teens watch. 

Pizza and Japanese snacks will be provided. This is an indoor, in-person program, so registration is required. The Library is at 41 Church St.
