Our children’s program offers fun science explorations that build curiosity about the natural world. Together, we'll use the scientific method to observe, experiment, and make sense of the world around us.
All ages are welcome, and registration is not required.
Drop in any time from 2-4 p.m. to build a boat and test how much weight it can hold while floating (all ages).
Come before or afterwards for a performance of "Moana" Tales and Tunes. Shipbuilding-themed prize basket will be raffled off at 4 p.m.

MAKERSPACE: KEVA PLANKS

Open-ended STEM play! KEVA Planks are precision-cut wooden building blocks that inspire creativity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning, allowing builders to create intricate structures.
Visit the Children's Room and let your imagination engineer the fun! Starting today, June 16.

Every Wednesday between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., Miss Sarah will be on hand to assist you with any project you’d like to complete. We have a LEGO wall, a programmable robot, snap circuits, origami, pixel art, ingredients for slime – you name it, we can make it happen!
*On the third Wednesday of the month, we show a movie in the Makerspace and make a related project. This month, design your own monster while we watch the animated classic, "Monster's, Inc."
Please note that the Makerspace is flooded with small parts, so we do not recommend it for very young children.
