Flock of feathered friends to visit Derby Neck Library


DERBY - All ages are invited to join us at 4 p.m. Thursday in our garden at Derby Neck Library with Joel the Chicken Expert and his flock of feathered friends! 

Joel will tell us all about how to care for chickens, types of chickens, and more on what living with a flock is all about. 
Afterwards, attendees will be able to ask Joel questions and pet the chickens.
The Library is at 307 Hawthorne Ave.

Oxford Public Library to hold 'DIY Backyard Chickens and Goats' program


OXFORD - Oxford Public Library will host “DIY Backyard Chickens and Goats” from 11 a.m.-noon July 24.

Join local experts Dottie DeBisschop and Marie and Jen Stocker as they show and speak about raising chickens, goats, and lambs.

Space is limited. Program will be held outside, weather permitting. The Library is at 49 Great Oak Road.

Massaro Farm in Woodbridge to host online webinar, 'Backyard Chickens'
