Derby Public Library to host virtual Teen Advisory Board meetings

DERBY -  Derby Public Library invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to Virtual Teen Advisory Board Meetings from 3-4 p.m. Aug. 5 and 19.

Attendees are encouraged to voice their ideas for improving and expanding young adult virtual services, as well as in-house programming pending public access into the building. 

Focus will include participant input that contributes to the library fulfilling its mission of quality-of-life enhancements in: knowledge; entertainment; and citizenship.

Do you have ideas about the types of programs we have or materials we purchase at the library?
This is an opportunity for you to express ideas for virtual programs during our library closure by joining the Teen Advisory Board.
Once you register below for our virtual meetings, you'll have a chance to help make the Derby Public Library an even better place for you and your friends.

Derby Public Library to hold virtual Teen Summer Club

DERBY - Derby Public Library invites all young adults ages 12 to 17 to this season’s virtual Teen Summer Club, Imagine Your Story! 
Club members should sign up at the library’s Eventkeeper program registration link which opens starting June 15 and club programming beginning June 24. 
Club members will gather through Zoom meetings with links to be provided after registration for each event. 
The seven-week summer club will include Maker Space activities, as well as Teen Advisory Board meetings, Audiobook SYNC chats, and member reviews of books and websites. 
Active members will earn a participation gift.
