Recuperation journey: Surprise compliment

When I was grocery shopping the other day my favorite George Harrison song, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, started to play. And I started to quietly sing along.

I was startled when a young guy standing near me asked: "Are you singing?"
I replied, "Yes, I'm old and this is a song from my childhood."
He smiled and said he loved the song and I was doing a nice job singing it!

Whaaat??? I have a horrible singing voice.

Maybe my kidney donor has a lovely singing voice? I must ask her.
