St. Vincent de Paul in Derby to hold clothing sale Wednesday-Saturday

Don't let this delicious sale melt a-w-a-y !
The restocking fairies are busy every night filling the store with fresh stock!
Did you know that our biggest fans thrift shop in the front and donate food to the pantry in the back?!? 

High need items now include Chef Boyardee, pancake mix/syrup, Hamburger Helper, Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce, canned stew, black teabags, ground coffee, ketchup, mustard, oatmeal. 

But we welcome all nonperishables!

Shelton Clean-Up Project to target area of Good Shepherd Church

 

SHELTON - Join us this Saturday, Sept. 20 from 9-11 a.m. to clean the surrounding area of Church of the Good Shepherd/Immanuel St. James Chapel! 

Meet us in the parking lot and please bring non-perishable items for their Little Free Pantry at Good Shepherd - Shelton.

Beatles tribute band Sun Kings to perform Saturday in Seymour

 

SEYMOUR - The Sun Kings' performance will start at 6  p.m. Saturday, rain or shine, at Great Hill Hose Company, 140 Botsford Road. 

The free concert is part of Seymour Culture and Arts' summer concert series.

FUMC Church, Troop 25 to hold Stuff-a-Tent Food Drive Saturday in Shelton

Help us feed our neighbors! 

First UMC of Shelton and BSA Troop 25 are working together to "Stuff a Tent" with non-perishable, unexpired food donations. 

These donations will be used to keep the FUMC Blessing Box food pantry stocked for people facing food insecurity. 

Please help as we work to make a positive impact in Shelton. (And don't forget your BSA bottles and cans!)
