Rochelle offers update on campgrounds, absentee ballots
All Connecticut campgrounds have officially begun a phased opening.
Campers must make reservations in advance of their stay and walk-in visitors will not be permitted on the sites.

The Secretary of the State recently mailed out applications to all registered Democrats and Republicans to provide individuals the opportunity to request an absentee ballot for the upcoming presidential primary. This measure will protect your safety and right to vote during the ongoing pandemic. This is shared from a press release Friday night from state Rep. Kara Rochelle's office. |
Naugatuck Valley Health District: No new COVID-19 associated deaths
Sharing message from Jessica Stelmaszek, MPH:
Attached please find the latest update on behalf of the Naugatuck Valley Health District.
Highlights:
- 3 new cases reported today [Friday]
- No new deaths reported
Additionally, as Tropical Storm Fay inches closer to CT, please be safe and remember if you approach a flooded road, path, or walkway follow this rule: Turn Around, Don’t Drown®. Just six inches of moving water can knock an adult off their feet and as little as 12 inches of moving floodwater can be enough to float and carry away a small vehicle!
