Save the date: Seymour Lions Club gearing up for 53rd annual car show
SEYMOUR - This show will be lots of fun for the whole family.
We take pride in the part we play bringing car enthusiasts together to celebrate a time when the automobile was more than just an appliance. We invite all hot rods, street rods, rat rods, classic, custom, trucks, motorcycles and antiques to join us.
As local car aficionados showcase their vintage, classic, and custom cars, trucks and motorcycles and all the work they have done on them, there are opportunities to network and uncover new ideas for local car enthusiasts.
Trophies will be awarded.
Music, raffles, socializing makes for a fun day!

Seymour Lions Club to hold 52nd annual car show at Silvermine Industrial Park
SEYMOUR - The Seymour Lions Club will hold its 52nd Annual Benefit Car Show from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday.
Antique, custom, stock, hot rod, muscle, street rod classics, truck, and motorcycles are welcome. It is a judged show.
It will be held at M.P.I. Corp., Silvermine Industrial Park, 36 Cogwheel Lane.
“The show will be fun for the whole family; we take pride in the part we play bringing car enthusiasts together to celebrate a time when the automobile was more than just an appliance,” said Melissa Smith, Past Lions Club President.
Breakfast and lunch will be available in our Lions kitchen! There will be music and entertainment throughout the day.
Trophies will be awarded at 2 pm.

Seymour Lions Club to host annual car show fundraiser
SEYMOUR - The Seymour Lions Club will hold its 48th annual benefit Car Show Oct. 15 at M.P.I. Corp., Silvermine Industrial Park, 4 Progress Ave.
Rain date is Oct. 22.
Antique, custom, stock, hot rod, muscle, street rod classics, trucks, and motorcycles are welcome.
The Lions Club will award trophies to top scoring vehicles.
Five special awards from the Lieder Family and three special awards for a featured category will be presented. The “Lions Best in Show Award” is a custom jacket, your vehicle's picture on our ad book cover, and next year’s dash plaque.
Breakfast and lunch will be available.
There will be music and live entertainment throughout the day. Trophies will be awarded at 2 p.m.
Registration is from 8-11 a.m.
General admission is from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m.
Registration is $10; general admission (under 12 free) $5; senior citizens 65 and older, $3.
Vendor spots are available.
